Youth Prevention
& Intervention Services
Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs
Substance use and misuse can have a large impact on someone’s life, especially if they are young. Youth who use substances like alcohol, tobacco/vaping, caffeine and other drugs are more likely to experience higher rates of physical and mental health issues, diminished overall health and have an increased risk of addiction.
Getting help early is important to an adolescent’s well-being as well as the family. Alta’s Youth Prevention and Intervention Services offer programs that help prevent substance use and get them onto a path of wellness.
