Alta Behavioral Healthcare focuses on helping children and healing families. Using traditional and innovative therapies, Alta Behavioral Healthcare offers a holistic approach to child, adolescent and young adult mental health.

Alta Head Start and Early Head Start is more than preschool. With centers across Mahoning and Trumbull Counties, we also offer free vision, dental and nutrition services to give your little ones a Head Start on life.

Mobile Crisis Clinician (MRSS)
Full-time MRSS Clinician to join our team and deliver MRSS to adolescents, children and young adults and their families. The clinician will provide day-to-day mobile crisis intervention (primarily in schools), follow up and support within our offices, and the community.
Assistant Preschool Teacher
Role in assisting the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing learning experiences in the classroom that advance the learning, social and emotional development, and physical development of the children in our program. They act as a key component in the development of a safe and healthy learning environment and help prepare children for kindergarten.
Family Coach
Funded through a grant from Ohio Children’s Trust Fund to help support our communities through strengthening and preserving families in Mahoning County. This position will provide direct services to families including administration of screening tools, home visiting, parent education programs, resource management and referral, and family coaching.
