Angela Church-Bukus
Family and Community Services Manager
Angela has been a part of Alta Head Start since 2020. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Thiel College and a Master of Science in Counseling from Capella University. Angela oversees the Family & Community Services department at Head Start, which includes the Family Advocates and Pregnancy Support Specialist. She also works with the Home Base staff in assisting them with any questions relating to Family Service needs.
Although not directly coming from a Head Start background, Angela has many years working in the social services field providing both direct service and supervision to staff. She is excited to be here at Head Start and will work to help support the children and families we serve as well as the valuable staff that work directly with our families.
