I have worked at Alta since 2002 as a therapist in both the Outpatient and Early Childhood Departments and I currently work as a School Based and Office Based Therapist. My areas of professional focus are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused and Early Childhood Mental Health. I received my Master of Science in Education in both Community Counseling and School Counseling from Youngstown State University (2001) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology also from Youngstown State University (1999). I am licensed in Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor. I also am a certified Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant in Ohio.
I am an outpatient and school based counselor. I work in the office as well as in the schools. In the summer months, I also lead a group at our agency’s Intensive Outpatient Program at Camp Challenge in Youngstown.
